If you believe in global warming, that evolution explains creation, that abortion is safe, and that big government and high taxes are great for economic growth then this author will declare you well educated and informed. For the rest of us, we are ignorant, science denying, knuckle dragers that cling to anything to stop progress.
If you believe that the tax increases of Bush 1 and Clinton led to economic growth and a balanced budget this is your author. However if you remember the multiple government shutdowns by Gingrich and the Republican Party that forced a balanced budget and welfare reform as the reason for growth and budget surpluses, you may question this authors other facts.
In the end his main premise is that the Republican Party is obstructing progress that will lead to a great nation. He fails to realize that this was once a great nation and the ideas of progressivism in the Republican Party combined with the ideas of socialism in the Democratic Party have brought is to where we are today. He believes that just given the chance progressive ideas will make us better. All of us knuckle dragers know that progressives have been running everything for 100 years and it is time to stop compromising with ideas that have failed.
Good points, but ones other authors have brought up before.
It is alos light on solutions, and history of how we got into this mess.

It should be noted by all that the author emphasizes that much could be said about the Democrats as well, and that he will soon release a kindle book about the Dems, "The Cult of Incompetence".
I really enjoyed this. It wasn't hateful or preachy but gave me some good stuff to use in conversation.
